THESE WERE THE FINEST OF THE FINE LADIES..
ReplyDeleteTHEY ALL WILL BE MISSED..
Babette was one of the most gracious, kindest people I ever knew.
ReplyDeleteHer sense of humor was great fun. For one of Cole Weston's legendary Birthday parties she made a perfect "Stan Laurel" costume.
For another party she and Jim had fantastic "alien" face masks for their costumes made from translucent milk cartons. We couldn't stop laughing.
Babette always made me welcome, warmed my heart and enkindled kind-hearted laughter. I am so honored to have known her as a friend.
